You're stuck. Not broken.
Let's figure out what fits.
When identity shifts, most advice tells you to blow everything up and start over. I disagree. Real transformation happens through edits, not overhauls — and I've built a whole practice around proving it.
I'm David Peck — designer, speaker, and host of Inside the Design Studio. I help people stay oriented when who they're becoming doesn't quite match who they've been. If you're somewhere in the middle of that, you're in the right place.

Where pop culture meets personal transformation — and neither one gets out unexamined.
I've spent decades helping people figure out what to wear for the most important moments of their lives. Turns out, knowing what fits on the outside teaches you a lot about what fits on the inside. My namesake boutique in Houston has dressed everyone from brides to A-listers — including a few you'd recognize, like Kate Bosworth and Taylor Swift — and every fitting taught me something about identity, confidence, and the understated power of getting it right.
The through line of every stage I've stood on — from Princeton to FIT to international conferences — has been the same question: what does it actually take to design a life that fits? I chair the board of Paris College of Art, have advised art schools globally, and spent years translating that question into conversations that move people.
I launched Inside the Design Studio because I needed a place to think out loud — and it turns out a lot of people needed to hear it. Every episode is an honest look at identity, reinvention, and the messy, magnificent middle of becoming. No blueprints. Honest navigation, in real time.
